Come and visit the teepee-shaped church, where you will discover an exhibition chronicling the history of the Abitibiwinni (Anicinabe) through often prolific, often turbulent, periods. Their thousand-year occupation of a vast territory has left traces that you will discover in Pikogan, where you can also visit an Anicinabe handicraft shop.
You can even enjoy some bannick (Anicinabe bread), on request for groups of 12 people or more, at an additional cost of around $3 per person.
At the entrance to the community, under the teepee, read the seven sacred teachings and rules of life for the Anicinabe.
